Camera workshop 2

CAMERA WORKSHOP 2

When it came to shooting the prelim we shot in 'wide first' because we wanted to get the whole shot including the background in so when it came to editing we could have all angles.

Continuity is very important because it makes sure that every shot fits together.

i learnt that marks are used to show were the actors are supposed to stand based on how the directer films it

You film before and after/before saying action or cut because it leaves more reaction time

they also told me that the actors shouldn't"watch the footage back on set because then it would take more time and then the actors or directors could end up questioning everything.

We also were given certain call outs to get everyone on set ready to shoot and film for example we would say 'stand by' to the actors then they would say 'stand by' too if they were ready, they when we stated to record we would say 'Rolling' then 'action' for them to start.when  shooting it is important that you stay in the 180 degree area since if you go beyond it looks like you are shooting from the other side.
