my draft album artwork

Here i have fully designed my album cover by taking a photo shoot of two people looking out into the view which was what imagined.Here in the album i made the sunset and use of imagery important to replicate what type of genre this is. i made the title of the album in white bold capitals to draw the viewers focus to the name rather than the artist looks and faces. On the first side of the cover the artist are both looking at the camera to suggest they are both equally as important in the band. And again in the back cover they both have their backs to the camera which means the focus is more on the songs they have produced rather than their'star' appearance.i went for a Indie/retro style to connote the style of music they have produced and also it beholds a correlation with the lyrics in the words with the sunset and natural earthy theme.i made the artist not wear makeup to convey that natural theme i'm trying to portray.i used baby blues and soft reds and greens as colours as a filter to represent the colours of a sunset.I also used a white colour for text so that the text stands out on top of the earthy colours. On the back cover i choose a 'quirky' font to go with the quirky Indie theme. The target audience are for the youth generation who like Indie music as a whole. I think they would pick this album because it is adhering towards the Indie look Stereotype.i used technical conventions such as Photoshop and airbrush to give the artist a glow of completion. and a bit of artificial lighting to create a certain tone and atmosphere.i used a low tilting up angle to make them look superior and to emphasize the collaborative effort between the two artist in the frame of the camera. As a symbolic convention i made the artist wear simple and neutral colored clothing so they are going with the chill atmosphere. I choose a viewpoint top as a setting to convey to the audience that that is were they belong. A star image has been created in the album.through the artists basing there 'popularity' on their product and what they produce rather than their looks entirely. They behold a niche which is their natural looks which may appeal as different towards the viewer.
