It allows you to have direct line to your targeted audience and understand their specific needs and what they want / look for with your product. it is a great way to gain constructive feedback before the consumer buys the product.It is also a fresh outside view which will help the producer of the product construct it in the best way it needs to be. when having a focus group it is best to have a small audience that you are targeting too, and have a friendly interaction with them , and make sure to involve everyone.
